the Sacramento area, the Bay Area for Yugoslavia, for Belgrade

let us see

because we have been told that

bridges and railroads, airfields

and factories, government buildings, television stations, the Chinese embassy, highways, and

of course, collateral damage they say, collateral damage, of course, apartment houses, homes, groups of Kosovar refugees, accidents they say, but

let us see!

This is an up-date on NATO bombing in the Sacramento area. We are having a hard time getting exact information because communications are out

in most sectors

but here is the latest news:

the two major bridges over the Sacramento River have been repeatedly bombed

no traffic can get across

for the time being

traffic must go to the west by way of Stockton and Tracy as the Isleton bridge is also reportedly down

the railroad bridge over the bypass

was hit several times yesterday

while an Amtrak passenger train

was passing

the train destroyed totally many dead being removed from twisted wreckage hard to get to area swampy ground hampers crews also recent sorties of NATO aircraft

main electric power plants hit

Vaca-Dixon transmission station totally destroyed I-80 impassable at that point detours necessary at many points off onto the dirt or to side roads

Sacramento cut off from west on east UCDavis medical center badly damaged in attack early today Stockton Boulevard blocked by rubble light rail not running due to track damage and several light-rail cars hit

State Capitol badly damaged nearby office buildings housing government agencies frequent targets of missiles

all persons advised to stay away from

city center bridges over American River

have been attacked badly damaged repairs being made

very dangerous for work crews

Davis Farmer's Market was hit Saturday fortunately market not yet full of people only 39 killed or injured

Mather and McClelland air force bases have been attacked continuously all persons must stay clear of those areas houses nearby are all vacated many damaged

Beale Air Force Base and Travis also attacked by missiles and cluster bombs

industrial areas now said to be dangerous

several factories hit

Water in short supply pumping stations bombed electric power out

food is hard to find

stores almost empty in the city

health of babies in hospitals threatened

people on life-support machines

terrified of dying

Fresh reports from San Francisco

total devastation along harborside and bayfronts

port facilities being bombed constantly

all bridges across the bay are out of use

Golden Gate Bridge badly damaged

many cars sent into the water below

traffic diverted to San Jose and north to Sonoma highways to Vallejo are impassable

Carquinez bridges damaged

oil fields and refineries hit by missiles in Martinez, Pittsburg, along the east bay

water is polluted with oil and chemical spills

no fishing is safe

BART tunnel under the bay and San Francisco subway still functioning but cars cannot proceed beyond downtown Oakland due to bombing of above-ground tracks direct hit near Macarthur Station

Livermore facility and Lawrence-Livermore labs

have been major targets

fear of nuclear radiation leaks

no problems say UC officials

And that is the news from Sacramento

as CIA Big Hard Boys hit the Chinese consulate

as NATO uses hard-steel persuasion of daily bombings and missile attacks to persuade the people of California to write letters to their president to persuade him to stop

his evil ways!
