Indigenous Currents and Net-works
Technologies, Confluences, and Stories of Insistence
April 2-3, 2026
Keynote Speaker: William Bauer
The Native American Studies Graduate Student Symposium at UC Davis, located on the lands of the Patwin-Wintun peoples, is one of the longest running Native American Studies conferences organized and operated by graduate students. Our symposium has featured papers from graduate students and upcoming student-scholars in NAS and related fields of study spanning themes from history and praxis to Indigenous futurity. This year, we once again invite graduate, undergraduate and community scholars to explore Indigenous ways of knowing and being from across global Indigenous geographies.
